chubby bunny brains in einer deutschen Suppe
…And I figured, if I am to evaluate a hybrid Brooklyn + Schneider beer, it would only be fair to taste another Schneider & Sohn concoction to draw a true analysis.
I was not disappointed. The second drink of the evening was Schneider & Sohn’s Aventinus [Wheat-Doppelbock]. It’s a lively carbonated beer boasting of fig and prune, muted by chocolate and malt. Its aroma was clean and rich and the beer was surprisingly light and drinkable, despite its other dark qualities. Tasty when paired with our miso soup & rice and seems it would be good with most mild to spicy dishes.
Damn, I chose two great beers to start my “research.”
